Article 1 of the Dutch constitution
In breach of Article 1 of the Dutch constitution, you may face discrimination, harassment or sexual assault as an LGBTI-refugee throughout the asylum procedure. LGBT Asylum Support is vigilant in safeguarding humanity throughout the asylum procedure and offers you a hotline in case of discrimination or other problem.
What to do in case of discrimination:

- Contact the police. Pink in Blue is the special hotline for LGBTI-related discrimination and other crimes (e.g. date rape, blackmailing) in the Netherlands (T:+31881691234 E: rozeinblauw@politie.nl)
- Schedule an appointment to report discrimination to the local police. If you have experienced discrimination throughout the asylum procedure, LGBT Asylum Support can assist you with your report to the police (T: 0900-8844)
- Are you or is someone else in immediate life-threatening danger? Call the police emergency number: (T: 112)
